Mike Maynard
Mike Maynard enters his fourth season as the UCLA Director of Track and Field, overseeing the men's and women's programs following three seasons as men's head coach as well as the throws coach for both the men's and women's squads. Prior to coming to UCLA, Maynard was head coach/throws coach at Boise State for nine years.   FULL BIO

John Frazier
John Frazier enters his third season at UCLA as the head men's track coach. He also directs the throws, primarily the shot put and discus.   FULL BIO
Associate Head Coach - Jumps, Multis
Jack Hoyt
Jack Hoyt is in his fourth year as the Bruins Associate Head Coach. Hoyt's coaching duties include all of the jumps and multi-events. He supervises the greatest group of volunteer coaches in Bruin history, which includes; Anthony Curran (pole vault), and Sharon Day-Monroe (heptathlon). Hoyt brings to the Bruin program over 20 years of coaching at the collegiate level.   FULL BIO

Forest Braden
Forest Braden enters his seventh year with the Bruins where he coaches the distance runners. Prior to coming to Westwood, he spent the 2008 season as a volunteer assistant with Gonzaga University where he worked closely with standout distance coach Pat Tyson in recruiting and facilitating training sessions.   FULL BIO

Joanna Hayes
Olympic gold medalist and NCAA champion Joanna Hayes returned to UCLA as an assistant track and field coach for sprints, hurdles and relays. Hayes enters her third season with the Bruins.   FULL BIO

Darrell Smith
Entering his second season as a UCLA assistant coach is Darrell Smith, Jr., who brings 20 years of international coaching experience to the Bruin program.   FULL BIO
Volunteer Coach - Distance
Rob Beamer
Robert (Rob) Beamer joins the UCLA track and field program as a volunteer assistant specializing in the distance events. Beamer is also a graduate student in the fully employed MBA program at the UCLA Anderson School of Management.   FULL BIO

Anthony Curran
Former UCLA pole vault standout Anthony Curran enters his 32nd year at his alma mater, returning this season as the men's and women's volunteer jumps coach.    FULL BIO
Volunteer Coach - Multis
Sharon Day-Monroe
Sharon Day-Monroe is in her third year assisting Bruin associate head coach Jack Hoyt with the heptathlon. She was a 2008 and 2012 U.S. Olympian in the high jump and heptathlon.   FULL BIO

Rob Jarvis
Jarvis, a native of Southern California, is a combined-events and jumps specialist who brings extensive experience at the NCAA Division I, NAIA and international levels. He returns to UCLA to serve as the director of operations.   FULL BIO
