Softball Loses to Michigan in Cambell/Cartier Tournament, 3-1

UCLA's softball team lost to Michigan Saturday in the Campbell/Cartier Tournament, 3-1. The Bruins drop to 6-3 overall 0-0 in the Pac 10.

Cathy Davie's three run homer in the fifth inning is all the offense that pitcher Sara Griffin needed. Griffin two-hit the Bruins in seven innings of work. The Bruins lone run came by Kim Wuest, who went 1-1. Th three sevens weren't tool lucky for Bruin pitcher Stephanie Swenson, who gave up seven runs off seven hits in seven innings pitched. The Bruins take on Louisana State at 1:00 p.m.
