For the 24th time in the last 25 years, UCLA football will be represented in the Super Bowl.

Both teams remaining in the National Football Conference have three Bruins making key contributions. The Philadelphia Eagles have Freddie Mitchell (third year), who made a 28-yard reception on fourth-and-26 to help push the game against Green Bay into overtime. The Carolina Panthers have two active Bruins -- running back DeShaun Foster (second year), who rushed for 95 yards, and Ricky Manning Jr. (first year), who made the interception that set up the game-winning touchdown over the Rams. Mike Seidman (first year) is also a member of the Panthers but is sidelined by a knee injury.

In the American Football Conference, linebacker Roman Phifer (13th year) is a starter for the New England Patriots. He played in the Super Bowl two years ago, helping the Patriots defeat the Rams.
