Women's Soccer Shuts Out Baylor 1-0

LOS ANGELES, Calif. - The No. 25 UCLA womens soccer team increased its winning streak to four games today, defeating the No. 24 Baylor Bears 1-0. The game was the first in the doubleheader of the USC Fila Challenge. UCLAs lone goal was scored by senior midfielder Louise Lieberman in the 45th minute off an assist from sophomore midfielder Janine Altman. Lieberman blasted the ball from 25 yards out to the top-left corner of the net. UCLAs record improves to 6-1, while the Bears drop to 5-2. UCLA faces the Cal State Fullerton Titans on Wednesday, September 23 at El Camino College at 7 pm.
