Los Angeles has a renewed appetite for college basketball!
After the long hiatus of a conference basketball tournament, fans are responding favorably to the opportunity of seeing the power of Pac-10 basketball again.
UCLA associate athletic director Ken Weiner stated that UCLA has sold 2,350 ticket packages to date for the Pac-10 Men's BKB Tournament at the Staples Center on March 7-9, 2002. The majority of these orders came from season ticket holders in a mailing that accompanied the annual Pauley Pavilion basketball season ticket renewal form. While the Pac-10 office has not finalized the allocation of ticket quantities nor locations for each participating institution at this time, it is anticipated that UCLA will receive upwards to 2,000 tickets in the middle level of the arena with the balance of the tickets in the upper level.
The UCLA CTO continues to take ticket orders in the upper levels from season ticket holders and other Bruin fans. Anyone interested in purchasing ticket can call the CTO at 310/UCLA-WIN. Office hours are 9a-5p, Monday through Friday.
