LOS ANGELES, Calif. - Farmer, a 6-foot-4, 210-pound senior, is a preseason All-American and Biletnikoff Award candidate. Although Farmer was hampered with an ankle injury through most of the season's first month, Oct. 9 Farmer made seven catches for two touchdowns and a career-high 196 yards in the Bruins 34-29 win over Oregon. That game ranks second all-time for a single game receiving in UCLA history.
On Saturday Farmer had three catches for 32 yards in the Bruins 17-0 loss to California. He is now ranked seventh in the Pac-10 in receiving yards.
On Oct. 2, Farmer became UCLA's all-time leader in receiving yardage after a six-reception, 148-yard performance at Arizona State.
Farmer, whose father, George Farmer, played for UCLA's 1970 national championship basketball team, is a two-sport athlete at UCLA. The second-team All-MPSF pick helped the Bruins to two NCAA volleyball titles (1996, '98).
