Bruin Quintet Reaches Finals Of US Soccer Youth Championships

Germantown, Md. - UCLA soccer players Mike Enfield, Adolfo Gregorio, Leonard Griffin, Ahmed Khalil and Ty Maurin have led their San Bernardino Blast club team into the U-19 title game at the 2002 Snickers US Soccer Youth National Championships.

Behind a fifth-minute goal by Rick Cobb, the Blast earned a 1-0 victory Friday morning over the Stony Brook Panthers to finish round-robin play in second place with four points. The Blast will face first-place Texans '82/'83 for the U-19 National Championship on Sunday, July 28 at 3:00 pm ET.
