San Jose, Calif - The sixth-seeded UCLA women's soccer team will play its biggest game in the eight-year history of the program tonight when the Bruins take on Portland in an NCAA semifinal match at San Jose's Spartan Stadium. Game time is set for 7:30 p.m. PST.
UCLA (18-3-1) is making its first-ever NCAA College Cup appearance, while Portland (18-3-0) is playing in its fifth College Cup in the last seven years.
In Friday's first semifinal, top-seeded and unbeaten Notre Dame (23-0-1) will face fifth-seeded North Carolina (19-3-0) at 5:00 p.m. PST. The Tar Heels have taken part in every single Final Four since its beginning in 1982, winning a remarkable 15 national titles. UNC is the defending national champs.
UCLA's match against Portland tonight can be seen delayed on ESPN2 on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. PST. Sunday's final will be televised live on ESPN2 beginning at 12:30 p.m.
