Women's Soccer Announces Spring Schedule/2005 Awards

LOS ANGELES - The UCLA women's soccer team begins spring competition at a 7v7 tournament at Pepperdine University of Feb. 25. Four more dates follow, with the final competition against Purdue on April 15. See complete spring schedule below for more details.

The UCLA women's soccer team also announced its 2005 team awards at its annual banquet on Jan. 28. Senior defender Jill Oakes won three awards, taking home Team MVP and Defensive MVP honors. She also won the Jeremy Daly Inspiration Award. Offensive MVP went to Iris Mora, while freshman Erin Hardy took home the Most Improved Player Award.
