Bruins Defeat Bears 12-1

Los Angeles - In today's non-conference match-up between the No. 1 ranked Bruins and the No. 18 Brown Bears, UCLA won 12-1. The Bruins improve to 15-3 overall (4-2 MPSF). Brown is now 8-4 overall.

For the Bruins, freshman Kelly Rulon was the game's high scorer, netting a hat trick. Junior Natalie Golda and senior Devon McIntyre each netted two goals. Kristyn Pulver, Maureen Flanagan, Lauren Heineck, Kristina Kunkel, and Robin Beauregard each netted a goal in the victory. Senior Jaime Hipp had four saves on the day and freshman Tahlia Kerr had three saves.

Diana Livermore scored the Bears' goal. And, goalie Keira Heggie had six saves.

The Bruins will host the No. 6 San Diego State Aztecs tomorrow, March 28, at 3:00 PM at Sunset Canyon Recreation Center.
