Bruin Players Fall in Finals of So. Cal Intercollegiates

LOS ANGELES - UCLA sophomore Mathieu Dehaine played in the finals of both singles and doubles at the Southern California Intercollegiate Tennis Championships on Sunday at the Los Angeles Tennis Club.

Dehaine dropped a tough three-setter to top-seeded Adam Holmstrom of Denver, 6-0, 3-6, 6-2 in the singles final.

He then teamed with junior Aaron Yovan, falling to the No. 1-seeded duo of Holmstrom/Niklas Persson of Denver in the doubles final 8-5.

UCLA's next scheduled competition isn't until the Sherwood Collegiate Cup in January.
