Los Angeles - The UCLA women's rowing team opens their fall rowing schedule competing at the Head of the American (Oct. 26 in Rancho Cordova, Calif.). The following week, the Bruins face a weekend double-header, racing at the Head of the Marina (Nov. 2 in Marina del Rey, Calif.) and the Newport Autumn Rowing Festival (Nov. 3 in Newport Beach, Calif.).
UCLA women's crew opens their second season as an NCAA sport hosting Long Beach State on Mar. 15, 2003. The following weekend, the Bruins compete at the 8th annual Berg Cup (Mar. 22 in Newport Beach, Calif.). The Bruins will then host Loyola Marymount in the 3rd-annual Karen Hock-Hjelm Cup (Mar. 29 in Marina del Rey, Calif.).
UCLA women's crew heads down to San Diego from Apr. 5-6 to compete in the San Diego Crew Classic. The following weekend, they host the 28th annual Norman P. Miller Cup (Apr. 12 in Marina del Rey, Calif.). The next two weekends, the Bruins travel to compete at the Stanford Invitational (Apr. 19 in Redwood Shores, Calif.) and at University of Minnesota (Apr. 26 in Minneapolis, Minn.). The Bruins then host USC as part of the 2nd annual Lexus Gauntlet Challenge (May 3 in Marina del Rey, Calif.) in their final regular season competition.
The UCLA women's rowing post-season begins on May 17 at the Pacific Coast Rowing Championships (Rancho Cordova, Calif.). The Pac-10 Rowing Championships are held the following day on May 18 (Rancho Cordova, Calif.).
