SEATTLE - T.J. Cummings had 22 points and 11 rebounds and Dijon Thompson scored 13, including two free throws with 10.5 seconds remaining in overtime that lifted UCLA to an 86-84 win over Washington on Saturday night.

It was an exciting finish after the Bruins (8-3, 4-0 Pac-10) had control all night. It seemed UCLA would coast to an easy victory until Washington (5-7, 0-4) charged back in the final 3˝ minutes.

After Thompson's free throws, the Huskies had a chance to force another overtime when Will Conroy drove and missed a layup as he bumped UCLA's Ryan Hollins in the lane. There was a tangle for the rebound, and officials called a held ball.

That gave possession to Washington with 0.2 seconds on the clock. After a timeout, Conroy inbounded for a possible tip-in to Brandon Roy but the horn expired when it touched his fingers.

UCLA freshman Trevor Ariza scored five of his 21 points in overtime, while Michael Fey added 12 points.

Conroy led Washington with a season-high 29 points. He shot 9-of-15 and had seven rebounds and five assists. Nate Robinson scored 18 points while Roy had 16 for the scrappy Huskies, who have lost seven of nine.

The Bruins have dominated the series, taking their fifth straight victory over Washington and 29 of the last 35 between the schools. But they had to earn this one, and it easily could have swung the other way.

UCLA led 70-57 with 3:32 to play after Thompson scored twice and Ariza had a three-point play. But Conroy and Robinson each scored 10 points during a 12-2 burst that pulled the Huskies to 72-71.

Tre Simmons got free under the hoop for an easy basket, and the Huskies led 75-74 with 44.7 seconds to go. Ariza made one of two free throws to tie it again, and Roy was called for an offensive foul when he drove.

Rubin was way off the mark on a runner that would have won it for UCLA at the end of regulation.

The Bruins shot 56.7 percent from the floor in the first half, and it seemed like enough to hold up the lead over the final 20 minutes.

The Huskies, though, made things interesting midway through the second half, using a 7-0 run to trim the margin to 52-42 with 11:08 to play when Jones broke free through the lane for a big dunk.

Ariza answered with a pair of baskets and Cummings added a three-point play as the Bruins kept the lead at double digits until Conroy scored on consecutive possessions to pull Washington to 59-51 with 7:36 remaining.

The Huskies made another run, cutting it to 63-56 on a steal and layup by Curtis Allen at the 4:40 mark.
