Los Angeles -- UCLA women's soccer player Stephanie Rigamat was named Pac-10 Player of the Week on Tuesday, following impressive showings against Stanford and Cal this past weekend.
Rigamat, from La Crescenta, registered six points on the weekend moving into second place on the team in scoring with 23 points (8g, 7a). Against No. 18 Stanford on Friday evening, Rigamat registered an assist in UCLA's 5-0 shutout over the Cardinal. She came back on Sunday to score two goals, including what proved to be the game winner, in UCLA's 4-1 upset over No. 6 Cal. She also added an assist in that game.
For Rigamat, this is the first Pac-10 Player of the Week honor in her career. She becomes the second UCLA player to win the award this season as Tracey Milburn was named Pac-10 Player of the Week on Oct. 16.
