No. 1 UCLA Wins Two Games on First Day of Stanford Invitational

Palo Alto, CA - UCLA remains undefeated and moves its record to 5-0 after defeating No. 6 California and No. 4 Hawaii on the first day of the Stanford Invitational. The Bruins' inter-season winning streak is now 38 matches, which ties the UCLA record of 38 games from the 1997-1998 season.

The Bruins will play Arizona State at 9:30 AM on Sunday and if they win, they will compete in the championship game at 4:30 PM.

In other action, No. 2 USC defeated No. 3 Stanford, 9-7, No.11 SJSU defeated Michigan, 7-6, No. 4 Cal defeated No. 16 ASU 14-7, No. 3 Stanford defeated No. 7 Michigan, 12-4, No. 2 USC defeated No. 11 SJSU 13-4 and No. 16 ASU defeated No. 4 Hawaii. 8-5.
