UCLA Football Kicks Off Saturday Versus Utah

UCLA opens its 88th season of football with a game against the University of Utah on Sept. 2 in the Rose Bowl.

Kickoff against the Utes is scheduled for 4 p.m. PDT and the game will be televised by Fox Sports Net (FSN Prime Ticket in Los Angeles) with Barry Tompkins and Petros Papadakis in the booth and Jim Watson on the sidelines.

AM 570 (KLAC) and the Bruin Radio Network will broadcast all of the Bruin games this season with Chris Roberts and Matt Stevens in the booth and Wayne Cook on the sidelines. The AM 570 feed can also be heard nationwide on Sirius Satellite Radio (Channel 118).

The first 10,000 fans in attendance wearing `Bruin Blue" will receive a free football schedule poster.

This game begins UCLA's 88th season of football. The Bruins are 56-26-5 overall in openers. UCLA bested San Diego State by a score of 44-21, in Qualcomm Stadium, in last season's opener on Sept. 3, 2005.
