UCLA head coach Karl Dorrell
"They started with an early interception for a touchdown, then went down and scored a touchdown, then had a kickoff return for a touchdown. They put all those points on us so quickly and we couldn't find a way to do things consistently, on both sides of the ball and on special teams. It just wasn't a good game. That's on us. That's on me, that's on our coaches. We're not doing a good job of getting these guys prepared, but now we're going to start over and try to get ourselves prepared for a big game against USC."

On changes to the offense once UCLA was trailing 24-3
"We were trying to find our rhythm and get settled down, but we couldn't do it. We were trying to get points on the board to generate some momentum or consistency, but then they'd come up with a key sack or something else would go wrong."

On why UCLA passed so much in this game
"We were down 31-6. We needed to try to get back in the football game, and we couldn't do that and run as much as we normally do. We were trying to generate any offense we could to get back on the board."

"We got away from running the ball early, and were doing things we wouldn't normally do if we hadn't been so far behind."

Oregon Head Coach Mike Bellotti
"It was great to get those scores early on. We did a great job of mixing it up in the first half. It was a little bit harder in the second half because they were blitzing so much, because they were losing. I was very pleased with our defense today. I thought our defensive line did a great job today. They got a little tired at the end, but I was very happy with the pressure we were able to put on them. I am very pleased that we have put together two consecutive games that we have played the way I thought we could."

On Kellen Clemens
"I am very pleased with Kellen's performance today. Our plan was to play him while he was hot. We weren't going to make a change just to make a change. That was the best first half of football he has played all year. It is his position and it has been all year."

On Becoming Bowl Eligible
"I am very pleased that we are in a bowl game. Now it is our job to make sure we play in the best bowl game we can."

On Offensive Line Play
"Give credit to our offensive line. Dave Ball is a tremendous football player and he wasn't a factor today."
