HARRISONBURG, Va., Sept. 28 -- Senior Mary-Frances Monroe scored one goal and assisted on another to lead nationally second-ranked UCLA (6-0-0) to a 2-1 win over James Madison (3-4-1) in women's soccer Friday night.
Monroe's volley from the top of the penalty box in the 19th minute got the Bruins on the scoreboard. In the 31st minute she served a ball to senior Stephanie Rigamat, who one-touched the ball into the goal from six yards out. Monroe has scored a goal in five of six games this season and has notched either a goal or an assist in all six.

The Bruins out-shot JMU 29-6, and senior goalkeeper Suzanne Wilson (Burke, Va./Robinson) was credited with 10 saves.
