WESTWOOD, Calif. -- No. 25 UCLA recorded the biggest win of the season, defeating No. 17 Nebraska 5-1.The Bruins were led by senior forward Larisa Kiremidjian and freshman forward Staci Duncan. Kiremidjian scored two goals for UCLA, knocking in goals in the third and 67th minutes. Duncan continued her outstanding play, setting up Kiremidjian twice and scoring UCLA's fifth goal in the 75th minute. Sophomore forward Venus James notched her third goal of the season, scoring in the 57th minute from Vanessa Clark's pass up the middle. Sophomore forward Tracey Milburn recorded her first goal of the season, kicking in the game-winner in the 39th minute. Nebraska's lone goal was recorded by Kim Engesser in the 70th minute on a penalty kick. UCLA's record improves to 5-1, while Nebraska drops to 2-2. UCLA faces No. 24 Baylor in the USC Fila Challenge on Sunday, Sept. 20 at 11 am at the Los Angeles Coliseum.
