BOSTON, Mass. - Former Bruin Elaine Youngs, with partner Nicole Branagh, pulled off the biggest upset on the AVP Tour this season, coming back from a game down to win in three (15-21, 21-19, 16-14) against the world's top team in Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh at the Bob's Stores Boston Open on Sunday.

On the team's second championship point at 15-14, Youngs served an ace, her fourth of the match, down the right side and fell to the sand in celebration as EY and Branagh clinched their third Tour title of the season and Youngs' 38th career title. Along with the victory, Youngs and Branagh gave May-Treanor and Walsh their first loss in 22 title matches, the team's first championship setback since July 2006, along with snapping the duo's 10-tournament win streak in AVP events.

Youngs and Branagh's other wins this season came at the year-opening Miami Open, at which they defeated May-Treanor and Walsh in the semifinals, and the Seaside Heights Open in New Jersey.
