Coach Mora was pleased with the productivity of Monday's practice on Spaulding Field. He also had been able to look at the film from Sunday night's scrimmage. "It was really good work, really crisp, a lot of good learning," said coach. "Like we talked about last night, the offensive line did a nice job protecting. Brett (Hundley) is the kind of guy that can erase a negative play and come right back to make a positive play."
Coach Mora mentioned that offensive lineman Simon Goines continues to make progress as he works his way back into the rotation at tackle. On the defensive side of the ball, he praised the work of his two, good-sized and experienced, cornerbacks --- Sheldon Price and Aaron Hester.
Practice on Tuesday, at Spaulding Field on the Westwood campus, will be open to the public. Those practices are scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. These are the last practices which will be open to the public. The team will then begin preparations for the first game.
