Bruins Begin Oregon State Week Practices

Coach Mora addresses media after Tuesday's practice

The Bruins took the field for the first time following last week's win over Houston and began preparations for Saturday's Pac-12 Conference battle with Oregon State. It was another day of good work on the new turf and grass surfaces at Spaulding Field.

Some Bruin notes from the NFL's second weekend- Arizona - DL saw action for Arizona; Carolina - PK Justin Medlock did not attempt a field goal last week for the Panthers , Cleveland - LS Christian Yount; Dallas - DL Kenyon Coleman started at end; Denver - WR Matthew Willis had one catch, S Rahim Moore started at free safety; Indianapolis - LB Justin Hickman saw action for the Colts ; Jacksonville - RB Maurice Jones-Drew gained 60 yards on the ground and caught a five-year scoring pass, TE Marcedes Lewis also saw action; San Diego - OT Mike Harris started at tackle for the Chargers; Tennessee - LB Akeem Ayers had nine tackles, CB Alterraun Verner added five stops; Washington - TE Logan Paulsen saw action; Minnesota - P Chris Kluwe kicked to a 48.0 yard average..
