BRUINS HIT HOME STRETCH OF LONG ROAD SWING
After a successful start to the current seven-game road trip, the Bruins play a second consecutive weekend away from Easton Stadium, this time playing on Friday night at Stanford and on Saturday and Sunday at California.

UCLA will conclude this season-long Pac-10 road swing on Wednesday in Seattle, Wash., when the Bruins conclude their season series with a single game at UW.

LANGENFELD, DODD LEAD BRUINS IN OREGON
Several Bruins had impressive performances in UCLA's 2-1 weekend in Oregon with a .311 team batting average. Tara Henry and Lisa Dodd both hit .625 for the weekend while Megan Langenfeld posted a 0.00 ERA on the weekend.

Dodd went 5-for-8 with four runs scored, four RBI, a home run, a triple and three walks for a team-high 1.250 slugging percentage and .727 on-base percentage. She had at least one hit in each game and had two RBI and an extra-base hit in each of the games at Oregon. Her weekend batting average was 262 points higher than her season average entering the weekend, more than doubled her previous Pac-10 batting average. She is currently on a five-game hitting streak with a team-high 11 multi-RBI game.

Langenfeld led the Bruins with a 0.00 ERA, 1-0 record with a relief appearance and 10 innings pitched last weekend. She pitched the final three innings of Friday's loss at Oregon State, striking out two. She followed with one of the best pitching performances of her UCLA career on Sunday, pitching the complete game victory at Oregon. In that outing, Langenfeld allowed just three hits and an unearned run while striking out a career-high eight batters. Offensively for the week, Langenfeld contributed two of UCLA's 18 RBIs on the weekend as she is UCLA's regular No. 5 hitter and plays first base when not in the circle.
