LOS ANGELES - Junior Jessica Hall tossed 4 1/3 innings of shutout relief, while Hall, senior Devon Lindvall, sophomore Gracie Goulder and freshmen Allexis Bennett and Britney Rodriguez each had hits in #15 UCLA's 6-0 loss to #17 Washington on Wednesday at Easton Stadium.

Hall struck out one in her relief appearance, allowing four hits and one walk, posting a 1-2-3 inning in the sixth. Sophomore Ally Carda (16-6) started and fanned four in 2 2/3 innings, giving up six runs, four hits and three walks.

Just as they did throughout their victory in the second game of Tuesday's doubleheader, the Huskies had a two-out rally in their first at-bat on Wednesday to get on the board. Kaitlin Inglesby drew a two-out free pass, Hooch Fagaly was hit by a pitch and Kimberlee Souza hit a homer to left to put the visitors up 3-0.

In the third, the Huskies added two more homers to extend their lead. Missy Taukeiaho led off the inning with a homer to center to make it 4-0. One out later, Fagaly walked, and one more out later, Lahners homered to left to put the Huskies up 6-0.

The Bruins' best chance came in the bottom of the fifth, as they led off the inning with back-to-back infield singles for freshman Britney Rodriguez and senior Devon Lindvall, followed by a single up the middle from freshman Allexis Bennett. But Inglesby retired the next three batters to get out of the jam, as sophomore Gracie Goulder struck out, sophomore Stephany LaRosa grounded back to the circle resulting in a force at home and Carda bounced out to the right side.

The Bruins head to Utah this weekend for a three-game, two-day series. Saturday's doubleheader will begin at 12 p.m. PT, followed by a single contest on Sunday at 11 a.m. PT. Gametracker and free audio will be available at UCLABruins.com, as well as live updates at twitter.com/uclasoftball.
