SEVENTH-RANKED BRUINS HONOR SENIORS, HOST #4 USC
The defending national champion and seventh-ranked Bruins will honor the 2012 senior class on Friday and will then entertain #4 USC at 6 p.m. at the New Pauley Pavilion. The match will be televised live on Pac-12 Networks.

Four nationally-ranked teams will play at Pauley Pavilion on Friday and you can watch all the action for just $1, as the #19 UCLA women's basketball team hosts #5 Notre Dame at 12 p.m. and the #7 UCLA women's volleyball squad entertains #4 USC at 6 p.m.

WHAT'S NEXT
On Sunday at 1 p.m., ESPNU will air the NCAA Selection Show, as 64 teams will find out where their postseason journey begins. The first and second rounds of the NCAA Tournament will be played next Friday, Nov. 30 and Saturday, Dec. 1 at 16 campus sites across the country.

BRUINS IN THE POLLS
The Bruins dropped two spots to seventh in this week's AVCA Coaches poll, losing 23 points in the rankings. UCLA is one of five Pac-12 teams ranked in the Top 7 in the nation (#2 Stanford, #4 USC, #5 Washington and #6 Oregon). The Bruins fell one position from fifth to sixth in this week's Volleyball Magazine rankings, losing 12 points.

TEAM NOTES
UCLA entered the week in the top five nationally in three categories, ranking second in kills per set, third in assists per set and fifth in hitting percentage. The Bruins were also tied for 29th in blocks per set ... UCLA leads all Pac-12 teams in hitting percentage (.298) and is second in kps (14.86) and aps (13.88). The Bruins also have the highest hitting mark in the conference in league matches at .298 ... UCLA surpassed the .500 hitting mark for the third time this season last Thursday against California when they hit .537. The Bruins, who hit .530 at Colorado (Nov. 9) and .519 versus Idaho (Sept. 7), have posted the three-highest, single-game hitting percentage totals at UCLA in the rally scoring era (since 2001) this year ... the Bruins have surpassed the .300 hitting plateau 16 times this year and are undefeated when doing so. UCLA hit over .300 12 times all of last season ... 14 of the Bruins' 21 victories have been sweeps ... UCLA is 14-0 when holding its opponent under a .200 hitting percentage ... the Bruins reached the 20-win mark for the 14th-straight season with the Nov. 10 victory at Utah ... UCLA is 19-1 when winning the opening set (only loss at Washington, Sept. 26).

PLAYER NOTES
Senior Tabi Love entered this week's play at 11th nationally in kills per set and 25th in points per set, while sophomore Zoë Nightingale was 34th in blocks per set ... Love is second among all Pac-12 players in kps (4.56) and pps (4.96). Nightingale is fourth in hitting (.379) and freshman Becca Strehlow is fourth in assists per set (10.56) ... three different Bruins had career-high hitting percentage totals on Nov. 9 at Colorado (Nightingale, .643; Love, .640; senior Rachael Kidder, .579) ... junior Kelly Reeves is 14 digs away from the 800 plateau. She surpassed the 500-kill mark at Colorado and now has 531 for her career to go with 52 aces ... with her 21 kills against California last Thursday, Love has cracked the 20-kill mark nine times this year. Love has also posted two double-doubles this month against Arizona State (24 kills, 11 digs) on Nov. 3 and California (21, 11) ... over the last six matches (all starts), Strehlow is averaging 12.05 assists per set, adding 37 digs (1.76 per set), 20 kills (0.95) and 16 blocks (0.76) ... freshman Karly Drolson made just her third start of the year at Oregon (DS vs. Northeastern on Aug. 31; libero at UCSB on Sept. 1 and at Oregon) and was one dig shy of a career high with 12 versus the Ducks (13 at UCSB). She also had her first-ever ace against UO ... sophomore Megan Moenoa has produced at least five digs in 14 of the 19 matches she has appeared in and is averaging 2.02 digs per set this year ... senior Bojana Todorovic surpassed the 1,200-dig mark at Utah on Nov. 10 and has 1,239 for her career. She is sixth on UCLA's all-time list and is 30 away from fifth (Ashley Bowles, 1,269). Todorovic is 16th in Bruin history with 110 aces. The senior has also played in 448 sets, tied for eighth most in UCLA history ... Kidder (1,398 kills) is two away from the 1,400 mark. She is 13th on UCLA's all-time list and next up is Lori Zeno, who is 12th with 1,404 ... junior Mariana Aquino has 11 matches this season with at least three kills and no hitting errors. She also has nine contests this year with at least five blocks ... over her last five matches, Nightingale is hitting .450 with at least five kills in every contest. She had 10 kills at Colorado and only one hitting error in each of the two contests last week, adding five with no errors in 11 swings on Tuesday at Oregon ... junior Meg Norton is averaging 1.86 dps over her last six matches, totaling at least four digs in every contest, including 11 at Arizona State on Nov. 3 ... against Stanford, sophomore Karsta Lowe produced her seventh-career, double-figure kills match, with six of them coming this year.

SCOUTING THE USC TROJANS
Since getting swept at Arizona State on Nov. 2, USC (27-4, 15-4) has won six straight, including a sweep at Oregon State on Tuesday. The Trojans are hitting .259 as a team, averaging 14.60 kills, 1.25 aces, 16.40 digs and 2.21 blocks per set. Freshman Samantha Bricio is tops on the squad with 4.11 kps and 36 aces. Three others, senior Katie Fuller (3.18), junior Sara Shaw (2.94) and junior Alexis Olgard (2.02), are also averaging over 2.00 kps. Sophomore Hayley Crone handles the setting duties and is averaging 10.95 assists per set to go with 28 aces, which is second on the squad. Junior Natalie Hagglund is first on the team with 5.07 dps, while Olgard is first with 0.91 bps. Mick Haley is in his 12th season as USC's head coach and has a record of 311-68 to go with a 1,084-256 mark in 35-plus years of coaching.

THE MATCHUP: BRUINS VS. TROJANS
The Bruins lead the all-time series with the Trojans 57-53, but USC has won the last two, including a four-set victory at Galen Center on Sept. 19 (28-26, 25-20, 24-26, 25-17). Rachael Kidder had 18 kills, Tabi Love posted 14 kills, Karsta Lowe added 13 kills, Bojana Todorovic had 22 digs, Becca Strehlow recorded 52 assists and seven digs and Kelly Reeves had 11 digs. The Bruins are 27-21 at home against the Trojans. UCLA's last victory over the Trojans was on Sept. 9, 2011 at USC (3-0) and the Bruins' most recent win at home was a sweep at Pauley on Oct. 9, 2009.
