LOS ANGELES - Three UCLA women's soccer players made the latest cut for this year's Missouri Athletic Club (M.A.C) Hermann Trophy, as Lauren Cheney, Christina DiMartino and Danesha Adams were all named semifinalists for the award, which is given annually to the player of the year in college soccer. The three players were initially named to the 46-player Watch List in August and have now made the final 15.
UCLA and Notre Dame lead the list of semifinalists with three players each. Four finalists will be announced on Dec. 14 in conjunction with the 2007 Men's College Cup. The winner will be announced at the Missouri Athletic Club on Jan. 11.
