UCLA's Ben Howland Hosts Weekly Press Conference

LOS ANGELES - UCLA head coach Ben Howland addressed the media Tuesday afternoon on campus, discussing last Sunday's exhibition victory against Cal State San Bernardino and the team's upcoming regular season opener.

No. 17 UCLA opens the regular season against Loyola Marymount on Friday, Nov. 11, at the Los Angeles Sports Arena. Game time is 7:30 p.m. Friday's game will be televised live by FS West.

The Bruins defeated Cal State San Bernardino, 80-72, in an exhibition game at Citizens Business Bank Arena on Sunday afternoon in Ontario, Calif. Sophomore center Joshua Smith led UCLA with 26 points. Reeves Nelson had the game's only double-double, recording 16 points and a game-high 10 rebounds.
