Junior midfielder Danesha Adams (Shaker Heights, Ohio/Shaker Heights HS) of the UCLA women's soccer team was selected as the UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week (Nov. 6-12).
Adams scored a total of four goals, including two game-winners, as the second-seeded UCLA women's soccer team posted a pair of victories to open up NCAA Tournament action over the weekend. Adams, who now has 11 goals on the season, got things started for the Bruins, as she scored twice in a 6-1 victory over UNLV in the first round on Friday. She came back on Sunday to put in two more goals in the Bruins' 3-1 win over Cal State Fullerton in the second round. Adams ranks second on the team in scoring with 25 points (11 goals, 3 assists).
This is Adams' third UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week honor of the season and seventh of her career.
