With three interceptions today, Rahim Moore tied the school record for single-game interceptions, held by Darryl Henley (1986 vs. Oregon State), Craig Rutledge (1986 vs. Oregon State) and Ron Carver (1971 vs. Texas).
Kai Forbath made field goals of 49 and 50 yards today. His 50-yard FG in the third quarter gave him a new school record of seven career 50+ yard field goals. Forbath's 49-yard field goal in the first quarter improved his mark to 9-for-9 on 49+ yard field goals.
Freshman quarterback Kevin Prince completed his first five passes of the game for a total of 67 yards with three first downs and finished the game 18-of-29 for 176 yards and one touchdown.
Left tackle Xavier Su'a-Filo is the first true freshman ever to start in a season-opener for UCLA on offense since freshmen were allowed to play in 1972.
Johnathan Franklin's first career carry in the first quarter resulted in a 12-yard touchdown.

Alterraun Verner scored on a blocked field goal by Jerzy Siewierski (70-yard return), UCLA's first score on a blocked field goal since Brandon Chillar vs. California in 2003 (65-yard return). The touchdown was Verner's fourth career touchdown (he had three on interceptions), and the block was Siewierski's first.
Terrence Austin had 160 all-purpose yards to move up to 19th on UCLA's career all-purpose yardage list with 2,767.
The 33 points scored by UCLA today were the most scored by the Bruins since scoring 40 points at Oregon State Sept. 29, 2007.
