STANFORD, Calif. - No. 3 UCLA improved to 11-0 on the year with a come-from-behind 9-5 victory over No. 14 Indiana on Sunday morning in the final pool play game of Bracket B at the Stanford Invitational. The Bruins won Bracket B with a 3-0 record and advance to the championship game against No. 1 Stanford later today. Freshman Rachel Fattal and sophomore Emily Donohoe each scored twice while Sami Hill had 13 saves against the Hoosiers.

In the win over the Hoosiers (3-6), UCLA had seven different players score goals. Freshmen Kodi Hill each scored a goal for the Bruins, as did sophomore Shelby Couture. Rounding out the UCLA scoring with one goal apiece was senior Gisselle Naranjo and junior Kelly Ronimus.

The Indiana Hoosiers pitched a shutout in the first quarter, but only managed one goal to take a 1-0 lead into the second period. But the Bruins exploded for four goals in the second while pitching a shutout of their own in the second period to claim a 4-1 lead at halftime. Indiana won the third period, 2-1, to cut the Bruins' lead to 5-3 heading into the final quarter. But it was all Bruins in the fourth as UCLA against posted four goals while allowing two, to win the game, 9-5.

Redshirt sophomore goalkeeper Sami Hill came up huge for the Bruins, time and time again, registering 13 saves against the Hoosiers. Jessica Gaudreault was credited with five saves for Indiana.
