Competition begins Friday at the Stanford Golf Course in the inaugural Pac-10/SEC Challenge, featuring the fourth-ranked UCLA women's golf team in the 22-team field.
The Stanford course will play to a par of 71 over 6,103 yards.
The field boasts seven of the nation's Top 10 ranked teams, including top-ranked LSU and No.2 Alabama. In addition, seven of the nation's top-ranked individuals will be competing, led by No.1 ranked Megan McChrystal of LSU.
The Bruins' will field a lineup of one senior, two juniors, a sophomore and a freshman. Junior Stephanie Kono, ranked 15th nationally, is the Bruins' top-ranked player. Also playing are senior Glory Yang, junior Brianna Do, sophomore Tiffany Lua and freshman Ani Gulugian. Lua began the week ranked 39th.
