UCLA Women's Soccer Ranked No. 6 to Start the Year

LOS ANGELES - The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) released its 2012 preseason women's soccer poll on Tuesday and UCLA checks in at No. 6 nationally. The Bruins move up one spot after finishing No. 7 in last year's final rankings.

UCLA returns 10 of 11 starters from a team that lost just one match in 2011, finishing with a 16-1-4 overall record. The Bruins also finished second in the Pac-12 last year behind Stanford, which is ranked No. 1 to start the year.
