Five Bruins Named Mid-Season All-Americans

Five members of the UCLA football teams have earned Mid-Season All-America honors from Phil Steele's College Football Magazine.

Junior defensive tackle Brian Price, sophomore free safety Rahim Moore and junior place kicker Kai Forbath were all selected first-team Mid-Season All-America by the publication. Senior linebacker Reggie Carter was named to the second team while senior cornerback Alterraun Verner was a third-team All-America selection.

All five Bruins (Price, Carter, Verner, Moore and Forbath) were also named Mid-Season All-Pac-10 first team by the publication. Redshirt freshman punter Jeff Locke was named to the second team. Senior Terrence Austin earned second-team honors as a kick returner and third-team honors as a wide receiver. Other third-team All-pac-10 selections included junior offensive guard Eddie Williams, sophomore defensive end Datone Jones and senior linebacker Kyle Bosworth.
