UCLA place kicker Justin Medlock and defensive end Bruce Davis have been named first-team All-America by CollegeFootballNews.com and defensive end Justin Hickman, who has made several All-America first teams, has been selected to that organization's second team.

Hickman and Medlock were selected first-team All-America by the Football Writers Association of America and The Sporting News. Medlock was also named to the teams of the Associated Press, American Football Coaches Association and Scout.com while Hickman was voted to the Walter Camp Football Foundation squad and Davis was named first-team by SI.com.

Medlock has made 26 of 30 field goals (he had a string of 14 straight halted at Notre Dame) and all 26 PATs for a team-high 104 points. He ranks first nationally in field goals (2.17 per game) and 12th in the NCAA and first in the Pac-10 in scoring (8.67). His 104 points are a career high and rank No. 8 (tied) on UCLA's single-season scoring list and his 26 field goals are the second-most in school history.

Medlock is second on UCLA's career field goal list with 68 and second on the career scoring list with 348 points.

Davis has made 43 tackles, sixth (tied) on the squad. He also ranks tied for first on the team with 12.5 sacks and second on the team behind Justin Hickman with 17.0 tackles for loss.

Davis ranks second (tied with Hickman) in the NCAA and tied for first in the Pac-10 in sacks (1.04) and 12th (tied) nationally and second in the Pac-10 in tackles for losses (1.42). He is also tied for fourth in the Pac-10 with three forced fumbles.

Davis ranks third (tied) on UCLA's single-season sack list and ninth on the single-season tackles for loss list.

Hickman is second nationally (tied with Davis) with 1.04 sacks per game (12.5 total) and 10th in tackles for loss (1.54 - 18.5 total). He ranks first in the Pac-10 in both sacks and tackles for losses. Twice this season, he has recorded three solo sacks in a game (Notre Dame, Rice). On the year, he has made 40 total tackles (29 solos) and leads the Bruins in sacks (tied at 12.5) and tackles for loss (18.5).

Hickman ranks third (tied) on UCLA's single-season sack list (the record is 16.5 by Dave Ball in 2003) and sixth on the single-season tackles for loss list. He is ninth on the career sack list and 17th on the career tackles for loss list.
