Athens, Ga. - UCLA's Courtney Dolehide and Pamela Montez secured All-America honors on Friday, as the Bruin duo posted a three-set victory in the round of 16 of the doubles draw at NCAA Individual Championships at Georgia's Dan Magill Tennis Complex.

Dolehide and Montez upset 5-8 seeded Kristy Frilling and Shannon Mathews of Notre Dame, 6-3, 4-6, 6-3 on Friday. The win sets up a quarterfinal meeting with Baylor's Ema Burgic and Nina Secerbegovic on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. (EST). Burgic and Secerbegovic, who upset top-seeded Sofie Oyen and Allie Will of Florida in Thursday's opening round, were 6-3, 6-3 winners over Alabama's Alexa Guarachi and Courtney McLane on Friday.

By reaching the NCAA Quarterfinals, Dolehide and Montez have earned a place on the 2012 ITA All-America Team. It is the first such honor for both players.

In the NCAA Singles draw on Friday, fourth-seeded Robin Anderson of UCLA suffered a 7-5, 6-4 loss to Cal's Zsofi Susanyi in the round of 16. By advancing to the final 16, Anderson joins Dolehide and Montez on this year's ITA All-America Team.
