Boulder, Colo. - Four different Bruin players scored goals on Friday as the No. 10 UCLA women's soccer team posted a 4-2 victory over Denver in the opening match of the Omni Hotels Colorado Women's Soccer Classic.

The Bruins scored twice in the first half with goals from Sydney Leroux and Amelia Mathis. Leroux knocked in her team-leading sixth goal of the season in the 24th minute on an assist from Jenna Richmond. Amelia Mathis scored on an unassisted strike in the 39th minute.

Two more second-half goals gave the Bruins a 4-0 advantage. Ahsha Smith and Chelsea Cline scored within minutes of each other in the 65th and 67th minutes, respectively.

Denver's two goals came in the final 20 minutes.

UCLA rounds out the weekend against host Colorado on Sunday at 12:30 p.m. (PST).
