Andrea Remynse has earned an NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship, as announced by the NCAA on Monday. Remynse is one of 58 student-athletes (29 men and 29 women) representing spring sports participants who will receive the one-time grant of $7,500.
Remynse, an All-Pac-10 honorable mention selection in 2011, was named a first-team Pac-10 All-Academic selection for the second year in a row. She carries a 3.60 cumulative grade point average as a political science major and will be attending Michigan State Law School in the fall.
Alaizah Koorji (women's rowing) also earned an NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship, giving UCLA its 66th and 67th in school history. It is the second Postgraduate Scholarship for UCLA women's tennis (Karen Dewis, 1983-84).
