Football to Face Longhorns in Cowboy Stadium in 2014

Nov. 10, 2011

The UCLA football team will make its first-ever appearance at Cowboys Stadium when it faces the Texas Longhorns in a neutral-site game on Sept. 13, 2014.

"We have been working on this with the University of Texas and ESPN for several months, and are thrilled to be able to announce the game," said UCLA athletic director Dan Guerrero. "Cowboys Stadium is an amazing facility and we are excited that our football team and our fan base will have the opportunity to experience game day at this state-of-the-art venue."

In its history, UCLA is 3-3 against Texas, including a 2-1 mark on the road. UCLA last defeated Texas in Austin, 34-12, in 2010.
