  • UCLA leads the all-time series with Washington, 36-29-2, and has won 9 of the last 11 games in the series.
  • UCLA's all-time record in the Rose Bowl is now 107-44-2 and 14-1 in the last 15 games.
  • UCLA is 22-5 overall at home under Coach Karl Dorrell.
  • After his 66-yard rush in the first quarter, tailback Chris Markey moved into 11th on UCLA's career rushing list, passing Kevin Williams (2,215). Markey finished the game with 193 yards on 14 rushes and now has 2,364 career yards rushing. The 193 yards are the second-most in his career, just shy of his 208 yards vs. Rice in 2006.
  • Markey's 72-yard touchdown run was the longest rush of his career, surpassing his 70-yard TD run at Cal on Nov. 4, 2006
  • With Markey rushing for 193 yards on 14 rushes and Khalil Bell rushing for 109 yards on 27 carries, UCLA has a pair of 100-yard rushers in the same game for the first time since the two of them did the same against Rice on Sept. 9, 2006 (Markey with 208 yards, Bell with 102 yards).
  • Quarterback Patrick Cowan's pass to Joe Cowan on UCLA's first series marked the first time the two have connected on a pass play at UCLA. It is also believed to be the first brother-to-brother pass in UCLA football history.
  • Wide receiver Brandon Breazell's 57-yard pass to Terrence Austin in the second quarter was UCLA's first pass completion by a non-quarterback since tailback Maurice Drew threw a 47 yard pass to Michael Pitre against San Diego State on Oct. 2, 2004.
  • Dennis Keyes scored a 60-yard touchdown off an interception in the third quarter for his first career TD. It was the first interception returned for a touchdown by a Washington opponent since Eric Frampton of Washington State returned one for 43 yards on Nov. 18, 2006.
  • Matthew Slater returned a kickoff 85 yards for a touchdown, UCLA's first kickoff return for a touchdown since Brandon Breazell had two against Northwestern in the Sun Bowl on Dec. 30, 2005. It was the first kickoff returned for a touchdown by a Washington opponent since Ben Kelly of Colorado returned one for 98 yards on Sept. 25, 1999.
  • Washington quarterback Jake Locker established career highs in attempts (35), pass completions (17), passing yards (216), and touchdowns (4).
  • Husky wide receiver Anthony Russo had a career-high 106 yards and two touchdown catches.
  • Tonight's attendance of 72,124 marks the third consecutive home game in which UCLA has had attracted over 70,000 fans (Sept. 8, 2007 vs. BYU - 72,986; Dec. 2, 2006 vs. USC - 90,622). The last time UCLA has had three-straight home games with 70,000+ in attendance was 2000-2001 (Nov. 18, 2000 vs. USC - 80,227; Sept. 22, 2001 vs. Ohio State - 73,723; Oct. 13, 2001 vs. Washington - 70,377).
