Olivia Courtney Named UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of Week

Junior Olivia Courtney (Fairfax, Va./Westfield HS) of the UCLA gymnastics team was named the UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week (Apr. 1-7).

Courtney won the all-around and vault at the NCAA Columbus Regional and helped the Bruins earn a spot in next week's NCAA Championships, held in Pauley Pavilion. Courtney won her second regional all-around title in three years, tying for first place with a score of 39.45. She also tied for first place on vault with a 9.925 and tied for second on floor with a 9.9, helping UCLA achieve a team score of 196.95 and a second-place finish at the Regional.

This is Courtney's first UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week honor of the season and second of her career.
