LOS ANGELES - UCLA held the first of two practices on Tuesday morning on the grass and turf fields of Spaulding Field. Coach Jim Mora’s 21st-ranked squad will be back in action on Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. on Spaulding Field. This will be the last opportunity of the fall for fans to come out and see the Bruins in action, as the squad will begin practice preparations for the season-opener on Wednesday.
UCLA opens the 2013 football season at home in the Rose Bowl on August 31 (7:00 p.m. PT). The Bruins then take to the road for game two and visit Nebraska (Sept.14, 9:00 a.m. PT). Also on Tuesday, the watch list for the 2014 Senior Bowl was released and six Bruins were among the players recognized. Those players were: Anthony Barr, Jordan Zumwalt, Seali'i Epenesa, Shaquelle Evans, Cassius Marsh and Owamagbe Odighizuwa. The 2014 Senior Bowl will take place on January 25, 2014 in Mobile, Ala.
