This will be the first meeting between UCLA and Nevada on the gridiron. Nevada produced a 7-6 record last season which included a couple of matchups against Pac-12 opponents. The Wolfpack posted a season-opening win over Cal (31-24) and a season-ending loss to Arizona (49-48) in the Gildan New Mexico Bowl. The Wolfpack ranked 18th in the nation in scoring last season (37.8 ppg) and rated eighth in total offense (514.85 yds/g).
Coach Mora’s 21st-ranked squad opens the 2013 football season at home on August 31 (7:00 p.m. PT). The Bruins then take to the road for game two and will visit Nebraska (Sept.14, 9:00 a.m. PT).
