Three-year varsity water polo (2010-12) letterwinner at Corona del Mar High School under head coach Barry O’Dea … Corona del Mar won the Pacific Coast every season he played … helped lead Corona del Mar to the finals of the 2011 CIF D-II Championship (lost 7-6 to Long Beach Wilson) and to the semifinals of the 2012 CIF D-I Championship (lost 18-9 to eventual champion Mater Dei) … in 2012, he scored two goals, including the eventual game-winning goal (4:05 left) in a 7-6 win over Newport Harbor in the CIF quarterfinals.
