LOS ANGELES – The No. 9-ranked UCLA football team (5-0, 2-0) began preparations for No. 13 Stanford (5-1, 3-1) with an early morning practice, Tuesday morning at Spaulding Field.
The game will kickoff at 12:30 p.m. PT, and be televised by ABC/ESPN2 (will be on one channel or the other throughout the nation) with Sean McDonough (play by play), Chris Spielman (color) and Shannon Spake (field reporter) calling the action.
The Bruins lead the series, 45-36-3. This is the highest a Bruin team has been ranked going into the annual battle with Stanford since the eighth-ranked 2005 Bruin squad trimmed the Cardinal, 30-27, in overtime on the Farm. UCLA is looking to snap a five-game skid against Stanford.
