LOS ANGELES - Senior Kelly Reeves recorded her third straight double-double and her team-leading ninth of the year with 12 kills and 15 digs, while sophomore Maddy Klineman surpassed double figures in kills for the fifth straight match with 11, hitting a career-best .529 and adding five digs, as the Bruins swept Oregon State on Friday at the John Wooden Center. Set scores were 25-15, 25-19, 25-23.

Junior Karsta Lowe added 11 kills for the Bruins, who improve to 13-10 overall and 4-9 in Pac-12 play. UCLA hit .314 as a team to win its 43rd straight match when hitting over .300, as junior Megan Moenoa captained the offensive attack with 37 assists, five digs and two aces.

Senior Mariana Aquino tallied seven kills, while junior Zoë Nightingale posted five kills and no errors in nine attempts (.556) with four blocks. In the backcourt, sophomore Karly Drolson had eight digs, senior Madie Smith notched seven and freshman Jessyka Ngauamo had a career-best six.

The Beavers only lead of the opening set was 1-0, as the Bruins scored the next four on Oregon State service and attack errors and kills from Klineman and Reeves to go ahead 4-1. The Beavers closed to within a pair at 7-5, but UCLA went on a 6-0 run on two Aquino kills, two Moenoa aces, a Lowe kill and a Beaver attack error to go ahead 13-5.

UCLA's lead never dipped below six for the rest of the set. With the Bruins on top 18-11, a 5-0 run on two Reeves kills, two Beaver attack errors and an OSU service error gave the Bruins a set-best advantage of a dozen at 23-11. On the Bruins' second set point, Aquino and Lowe teamed up for a block to wrap up a 25-15 victory. Reeves had five kills to lead the Bruins in the first, while Lowe was 3-for-6 with no hitting errors, as the Bruins won the hitting battle .375 to .103.

The Bruins led wire-to-wire in set two. Equal at 2-all, a 6-0 UCLA run on two Reeves kills, two Oregon State errors and kills from Lowe and Klineman made it 8-2. The Bruins' lead never dipped below two for the rest of the set, but was never any higher than seven at 20-13.

Leading 15-12, a 5-1 Bruin run on kills by Nightingale, Aquino and Reeves and two Oregon State attack errors made it 20-13. Oregon State made things interesting thanks to a 5-0 run, but UCLA closed out the set with a 5-1 run to win it 25-19. Kills by Reeves, Lowe and Klineman, as well as two OSU attack errors, including one on the Bruins' first set point, wrapped up the second set win. Reeves again led the Bruins in kills with four, adding five digs. Klineman was 3-for-5 with no errors, while Aquino and Lowe also added three kills apiece. The Bruins out-hit the Beavers .286 to .094.

Just like the opening set, the Beavers had a 1-0 lead, but two in a row and six of seven for the Bruins put them up for good. Klineman had three kills during the 6-1 run, Lowe added a kill, Smith served an ace and the Beavers committed a service error. Oregon State charged back with four in a row to tie things up at six, but a 6-2 UCLA run put the home squad back up by four. Nightingale and Reeves each had a pair of kills, Ngauamo served an ace and Lowe added a kill to make it 12-8. Four would be the Bruins' largest lead of the third.

With the score 22-19, the Beavers scored three straight to even things at 22, but the visitors were unable to re-take the lead. An OSU service error out of a UCLA timeout and a bad Beaver set gave the Bruins a pair of match points. On attempt number two, a Lowe kill, her fifth of the set, closed out a 25-23 win. Klineman paced UCLA with six kills in the third, while Reeves added three with seven digs. The Bruins won the hitting battle .289 to .273.

The Bruins host Oregon on Sunday at Pauley Pavilion at 1 p.m. The match will be broadcast live on Pac-12 Networks.
