EUGENE, Ore. -- The UCLA Bruins came out firing on all cylinders on Monday afternoon and recorded a 103-83 victory at Oregon in Matthew Knight Arena. With the win, the Bruins snapped a five-game road losing streak, improving to 12-14 overall and 6-8 in the Pac-12. The Ducks dropped to 13-12 overall and 4-10 in league play.

The 103 points were the most scored by UCLA since a 104-80 home win over Oregon on Jan. 28, 2010.

The Bruins again were led by their big three of Atonye Nyingifa (34 points, 12 rebounds), Nirra Fields (26 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists) and Thea Lemberger (21 points, eight assists). But for the first time this season, UCLA had five players score in double figures as Corinne Costa added 10 points, six rebounds and four assists and Madeline Brooks had a career-high 10 points.

Lemberger became the 29th Bruin in UCLA history to register 1,000 career points today.

UCLA jumped out to a 7-0 lead and never trailed in the game. The Bruins twice held leads of 20 points in the first half, the latter on a layup by Fields with 6:50 to go to give UCLA a 39-19 advantage. The Bruins held a 54-40 lead at halftime and shot the ball very well (season-high 59.5 percent, 22-for-37, from the field).

Oregon used an 11-0 run in the second half to pull to within in nine points, but would get no closer.

For the game, UCLA shot a season-best 54.7 percent (41-for-75) from the field and from three-point range (60.0 percent, 9-for-15). The Bruins also registered a season-high 29 assists. The Bruins battled to a 40-40 draw on the boards, but registered 15 steals and won the turnover battle, 20-13.

The Ducks were led by Jillian Alleyne's double-double of 24 points and 12 rebounds. Ariel Thomas acutally finished as Oregon's scoring leader with 28 points.

The Bruins return home to host California on Friday, Feb. 21 at 8:06 p.m. on the Pac-12 Networks. It will also be the Bruins' Play4Kay game to help with breast cancer awareness.
