UCLA has five tennis players honored for their work in the classroom.

Pac-12 Announces All-Academic Tennis Teams for 2014

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - The UCLA tennis programs had two men's players and three women's players earn 2014 Pac-12 All-Academic honors on Thursday. To be eligible for selection to the academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade-point and be a significant contributor.

Bruin junior Kaitlin Ray, a communications studies major with a 3.95 GPA, led all Bruin players with her selection to the first team. On the men's side, recent NCAA Champion and economics major Marcos Giron was a second-team selection. Kyle McPhillips, Courtney Dolehide and Clay Thompson were also honored by the conference on Thursday.
