Rowland and Dahlkemper were named to Soccer America's MVP team in 2013 and are returning NSCAA All-Americans. Rowland led the nation in goals against average (0.27) and set a school record with 15 solo shutouts. Dahlkemper was a finalist for the MAC Hermann Trophy and the first-ever UCLA winner of the Honda Award for soccer.
Killion and Mewis both played with the U.S. Women's National Team during the off-season, with Mewis picking up her first two career caps at the Algarve Cup. Killion was a first-team NSCAA All-Pacific Region honoree in 2013 and led the Pac-12 in assists with 12. Mewis tied the school record for assists in a game last season with three vs. USC and led the team in postseason scoring with seven points (1g, 5a).
Additionally, eight UCLA players have made Top Drawer Soccer's Top 100 list - No. 2 Dahlkemper, No. 3 Killion, No. 13 Mewis, No. 15 Rowland, No. 47 Darian Jenkins, No. 51 Taylor Smith, No. 87 Ally Courtnall and No. 100 Caprice Dydasco.
UCLA opens the season on Friday, Aug. 22 vs. Maryland at Marshall Field at Drake Stadium. The match will be televised live on Pac-12 Networks at 7 pm PT.
