UCLA - Joined the Bruin football team as a graduate student in August ... A born leader that was hindered by injuries during the 2011 season.

2011 - Suffered a meniscus tear in his knee during fall training camp and missed the first few games ... Made his Bruin debut against Stanford and tallied two tackles, including one solo ... Had one tackle against Washington State before suffering another knee injury that knocked him out for the remainder of the season.

2010 - Saw action in four games due to knee and groin injuries and was credited with nine tackles, including one tackle for loss ... Had one fumble recovery and one pass break up.

2009 - Played both offense and defense (11 games) ... Started and ended the season at DB and played WR in mid-season ... Had three starts at DB and one at WR ... Also returned punts (2 for -3 yd. avg.) and kickoffs (3 for 13 yd. avg.) ... Had 26 total tackles, 17 solos, two interceptions and four passes defensed ... Caught four passes for 35 yards and had 12 yards rushing on a reverse ... Had big game against Tennessee with 10 tackles ... Had seven stops versus Mississippi State ... HIGH SCHOOL - Senior captain... Started at WR, QB, TB and DB... Named 4A All-State and All-Midstate by Tennessean... As senior, threw for 570 yards and five TDs, ran for 640 yards and 12 TDs, and caught 25 passes... Also posted four interceptions - and 15 for career... Returned four kicks for TDs.. First freshman in school history to start in varsity basketball... Surpassed 1,500 career points for career, helping team to state tourney in 2006-07... School's first recipient of prestigious Hume Award given by Nashville public school system in recognition for achievement by a football scholar-athlete.
