2007 --This redshirt senior shifted to right guard (from tackle) at the beginning of the season and started against Stanford, BYU, Utah, Washington and Oregon State, playing virtually every snap of those games ... He also started against Notre Dame ... Sutherland then shifted back to tackle and saw some action off the bench at that position versus California ... He did not play against Washington State or Arizona but played a couple of snaps versus Arizona State as a third tackle ... He did not play versus Oregon but saw action against USC as an additional blocking tight end ... He came off the bench in the Las Vegas Bowl ... Sutherland was named Pac-10 All-Academic honorable mention for his efforts.

2006 -- Won the starting weakside tackle job in Fall camp and started all 13 games ... Played virtually every snap in all 13 games, sitting out only the final series in four games ... Played at least 60 snaps 11 times and 70 or more on five occasions.

2005 -- In his first year on offense, Sutherland started at strong tackle against Oregon State in place of an ill Brian Abraham and did a fine job, playing 71 snaps ...
